Eddie's House Restaurant Re-Inspection March 1, 2010

Scottsdale Arizona News -- Eddie's House restaurant on East Indian School Road was hit with five major violations. Pink/orange slime mold in the ice machine, foods not correctly date marked and employees hands and exposed arms are not clean and properly washed issues were just a few of the problems.

But the Maricopa County Environmental Health Division returned to the establishment on March 1st and found that all violations were corrected and Eddie's House passed it's re-inspection.

Public online records show an advisory was conducted at Eddie's House on March 5th to discuss the probation period. The inspection report says the manager, executive chef/owner and chef de cuisine were present at the time of the advisory -- all understand the process.

Environmental Health SOP means Eddie's House establishment is on probation for 6 months. If they have any repeated major violations during that 6 month probationary period, their permit to operate maybe revoked.

Two days after the advisory and Chef Eddie Matney was not in the kitchen -- he was in Steamboat, according to a tweet he posted on Twitter.
